Access Control

 
Access control can be either unattended or attended, in the latter case it could be as simple as an intercom at the entrance door which connects to a telephone on the reception desk, the telephone would incorporate an electronic door release button.

An unattended system could be used in such applications as an apartment block, where individual apartments can be called allowing two way speech before releasing the door.

Either system can be further enhanced to include a colour or mono camera at the entrance door giving the occupant the added benefit of seeing the caller on a monitor in their apartment.
